Confession Time....

There have been moments in my career when I've looked around the room, surrounded by industry giants, and wondered, 'Do I really belong here?' Transitioning from some of the most well-known multinationals and leading consultancy businesses to setting up my own venture wasn't a decision made overnight. It was a journey filled with self-reflection, courage, and a burning desire to make a real impact in delivering pragmatic, sustainable, and financially viable solutions that benefit both senior and executive management, as well as the workers on the floor.

My journey began in the heart of corporate corridors, where I cut my teeth in renowned multinationals and consultancy firms. The allure of prestigious titles and the adrenaline rush of solving complex business challenges kept me hooked for years. However, amidst the boardroom discussions and high-level strategies, I couldn't shake off the feeling of detachment from the real essence of business – the people.

While the bottom line often dominated discussions, I couldn't ignore the human element, the workforce that toiled day in and day out to make those strategies a reality. Their voices seemed muffled amidst the cacophony of profit margins and market share. It was a wake-up call, urging me to reassess my role in the corporate machinery.

The turning point came when I realized that my passion lay not just in devising grand strategies but in crafting solutions that resonate with every level of the organization. I craved to bridge the gap between the boardroom and the shop floor, to create an environment where every employee feels valued, empowered, and integral to the company's success.

With this newfound clarity, I embarked on a journey of self-discovery and entrepreneurship. It was a leap of faith, leaving behind the safety net of established corporations to chart my own course. Armed with years of experience, a vision for change, and an unwavering commitment to making a difference, I set out to establish my own business in 2015.

The mission was simple yet profound – to deliver pragmatic, sustainable, and financially viable solutions that not only cater to the needs of senior and executive management but also champion the cause of the workers on the floor. It wasn't just about driving profits; it was about creating a holistic approach to business that prioritized people alongside performance.

From the outset, I was determined to embed this ethos into the DNA of my business. It wasn't enough to pay lip service to corporate social responsibility or employee welfare; it had to be ingrained in every facet of our operations. Whether it was designing inclusive leadership programs, implementing ethical supply chain practices, or fostering a culture of transparency and trust, every decision was guided by our commitment to creating value for all stakeholders.

The journey hasn't been without its challenges. Building a business from scratch requires resilience, adaptability, and a willingness to embrace failure as part of the learning process. There were moments of doubt and uncertainty, times when the allure of the corporate world seemed tempting again. But each setback served as a catalyst for growth, fueling my determination to stay true to my vision.

Today, as I look back on this transformative journey, I'm filled with a sense of pride and fulfillment. Our business is still pushing for the next innovative solution, ESG Custodian, however over the years we have gained recognition for our innovative approach and tangible impact. But more importantly, we've succeeded in creating a workplace where every voice is heard, every contribution is valued, and every individual has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

The transition from corporate stalwart to entrepreneur was not just a career move; it was a personal evolution. It taught me the power of purpose-driven leadership, the importance of staying true to your values, and the transformative impact of putting people at the heart of business. And as I continue on this journey, I'm reminded that true success lies not in the balance sheet but in the lives we touch and the legacy we leave behind.
